Jax has been giving Mia the cold shoulder since they had sex and now she arrives at her mothers for Thanksgiving only to discover she has married and her new husband is Jax father. Finding out that they are now legally related explains Jax odd behavior of late and now Mia is feeling beyond awkward! As she tries to survive this weekend while avoiding any time with Jax, now he won't leave her alone. They are letting their parents think that they don't know each other and Jax seems to turn up wherever she goes. Can she continue to avoid him for the rest of the weekend, why is he trying so hard to talk to her now? After a day on the slopes snowboarding they reach a truce but one late night when he shows up in her room will she be able to resist him and what about their parents, they can't find out. The cliff hanger has you on the edge of your seat and dying to know what is next for these two inadvertent step siblings.

With Jax and Mia parents married there is awkwardness between them and they act like they don't know each other. With Mia trying to avoid Jax, But Jax will do anything to try to talk to Mia and explain what happened. With them being around each other and what they feel for each other how long can they stay away from each other. What happens at the end I am dying to read what happens next

A must for any teacher

I love Caught'ya grammar. I have used it everyday for the past 8 years I have taught. I have never used the 2nd grade version (bought it for a co-worker) but I have used the first, third grade, and fourth grade stories. This is the only grammar/editing program I have used that has had such an impact on my students' learning. I work at a Title 1 school where half of my class began the year 1 or more grades below grade level. It is December and they are using quotation marks, commas, and indentions with ease. When doing the first grade story, I bought a ball "Eggbert" (the main character in the story) for my classroom. In the story, Eggbert is a ball that bounces by himself. Every night after the students left, I moved Eggbert around the room. They loved looking for him everyday and it made them even more excited about the story.

Update: I used the second grade version this past year, and it was just as good as the other versions. I bought a stuffed skunk for the classroom to go along with the story, and the students loved it. I sent Petra (the skunk) home with them and they had to write about their adventures. Adding this element made them even more excited about the GRAMMAR story. Yes, students excited about grammar.

Excellent and Effective Grammar Learning System

This is an excellent approach for teaching grammar to reluctant writers. The story is cute and funny and it's the first thing my students want to do in the morning. As the teacher, you write the sentences on the board incorrectly. The students "catch" the grammar errors and then write the corrected sentences in their jornal, in a sense, writing their own copy of the story. The errors, at first, are simply capitalization mistakes and missing punctuation. As the lessons progress and the students gain confidence, the concepts of paragraphs, comma usage, and quotes marks are introduced. This grammar system is a great foundation builder that, I believe, will stay with the student for years to come. I can't say enough good things about the author and creator of this system. She's brilliant and genius and she's created something that really works for all students, no matter their learning level.

Each spread includes a poem consisting of neatly rhymed couplets that first set a scene (I gaze into the evening sky,/Think great thoughts and wonder why) and concludes with a hint or suggestion as to how the objects on the opposing page might most efficiently be grouped to arrive at a sum (When you look up to the heavens,/Try to think in groups of sevens!). There are no overt patterns so that, as Tang says in his author's note, children are challenged to combine numbers in smart ways, not just obvious ways. The book concludes with clear diagrams and succinct explanations providing the solutions. Briggs's computer-generated art is crisp, clear, and delightfully quirky. For example, Sock Hop features a loafer on guitar, work boots on drums, and a high-heeled pump on keyboard. Fun, Fast and Fascinating!

If you are planning a trip to the Kingdom of Tonga, you would be wise to tuck this intriguing book into your knapsack. Unlike conventional guides that direct tourists to points of interest, "Making Sense of Tonga" is designed to help the Westerner understand the complicated and often perplexing Tongan way of life. The authors, whose gentle humor is always tempered by a deep respect for the culture, give us a fascinating picture of life in a country where one's social rank affects all interpersonal relationships, from King to commoner. Family and community take precedence over the individual. Ownership is a foreign concept and sometimes "yes" means "no". Scheduling is a meaningless exercise and rules are meant to be broken. And if that's not enough to convince you that you need this book when you travel to Tonga, maybe the sight of locals swimming with their clothes on while holding umbrellas is! And even if you never step foot in Tonga, this little book will inform and delight even the most critical of armchair travelers.

Having lived and worked in Tonga for 18 months this book was recommended to me and proved invaluable. In particular asking a question the right way or you will not get the answer you want. As an Aussie I tend to ask a question that had a negative answer, for example · Drew is not in yet is he' I expected the answer to be No but I always got yes. The first few times I entered the office expecting to find Drew but finally realising that they were correct as they agreed with Myers drew was not in. So enjoy and everything here in this book is very accurate.
